HEPL Director Comes out in Favor of Porn for Kids

Please Come to Thursday's Board Meeting at 4:15 pm

Hamilton East Public Library Director Edra Waterman has apparently completed her review of the hard core porn in the teen section of library. The two books are: Let’s Talk About It: The Teen’s Guide to Sex, Relationships, and Being a Human and A Quick and Easy Guide to Consent. Read about the specifics of these books here.

Here is one of the two letters she sent me about these ridiculous books:

Edra Waterman’s basic failure to grasp the obvious fact that the library should not be providing hard core pornogrophy to minors, and her intentional promotion of such materials to teens, is a conclusive demonstration of her gross incompetence. She therefore cannot be allowed to continue on as the Director of HEPL, as her incompetence is now jeopardizing public confidence.

I realize that this call is last minute. I only received the emails tonight, less than twenty-four hours before the board meeting. Nevertheless, I am calling on readers to attend the HEPL board meeting tomorrow, Thursday 1/27 at 4:15 pm. Consider making these points during the public comment section of the meeting. The meeting is at the Fishers branch, 5 Municipal Drive, in the Fishers Library Center Meeting Room.
