TOTAL VICTORY AT HSE

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:5)

We did it. We won all four of the races for HSE School Board.

Many thanks to our four brave board candidates who worked so incredibly hard for this total victory. Many thanks to the volunteers who supported them. Many thanks to the voters who turned out.

Let us take a moment to bask in the final results:

Now begins the work of getting the ship turned around, hopefully starting with serious accountability for those who advocated keeping secrets from parents about their own children (see here, here, and here).

In order to accomplish this, the new board is going to need new legal counsel that can provide sound advice and not double down on the poor decisions of the past. I would respectfully suggest that the new board start there.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. For today, let us celebrate a hard-won victory! With God’s help, we did it. Hallelujah!
